Louise has more than 30 years of professional experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and trusted advisor to a wide variety of organizations and senior leaders in the areas of executive leadership, teamwork and strategic change. As an Associate Partner with our Academic Search practice, Louise focuses on leadership search for higher education institutions with French language requirements. She has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by leaders in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and is a skilled facilitator.
Over her career Louise has worked with a host of Canadian and international organizations including McGill University, Université de Sherbrooke, CBC Radio-Canada, Air Canada, Cirque du Soleil and several major Canadian financial institutions. She co-founded a boutique consulting firm which was acquired in 2007 by Knightsbridge (now Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge), one of the country’s leading talent development organizations. She held the position of Managing Director, Eastern Region with Knightsbridge in Montreal for five years before returning to practice as an independent and in partnership with like-minded consultancies.
Louise is a graduate of Université de Montréal, where she earned degrees in Industrial Relations and Adult Education. She is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines du Québec and holds the CRIA (Conseiller en relations industrielles agréé) designation, as well as the ICD.D. designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Louise sits on the boards of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal.
Located in Montréal, Louise is perfectly fluent in French and English, and has some knowledge of Spanish. She is an aspiring winemaker, having recently planted a vineyard on her farm in Melbourne, Québec.
