A trusted advisor to many business leaders, she brings a pragmatic approach to helping clients introduce organizational and cultural change. Her advice is grounded in years of operational experience. Prior to consulting, she held senior roles in health care and the insurance sector during periods of major transformation.
She is an accredited business communicator (ABC) through the International Association of Business Communicators and has recently completed the Grove Consultants International’s intensive course Designing and Leading Change, where she was schooled in graphic facilitation.
Michelle has a passion for helping teams create alignment around business strategy and ways of working to sustain high performance.
She is a certified facilitator of Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge's award-winning program The Accountable Manager as well as its Leadership Essentials suite of workshops - including Leading High Performing Teams, Coaching for Results, Change Solutions and Developing Personal Resilience - and is pursuing her certification to deliver their accelerated team program, Vital Teams.
Michelle is certified to deliver DISC behavioral assessments, including Leadership Development, Team Dynamic, Career Management and Job-Fit Hiring. She delivers career management workshops and supports our executive clients to chart new paths forward.
She brings a unique perspective in organizational health to each client engagement. Emboldened by her research experience on the topic, Michelle believes that organizational health is a key driver of business success.
An engaged community leader, Michelle is a member of the board for Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia and Family SOS and is a former Big Sister and board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax.
