Bev understands first-hand what it takes to lead great organizations and has cultivated strong relationships with numerous senior leaders across the region. A Chartered Professional Accountant, she began her career with KPMG in Toronto over 25 years ago and quickly advanced into progressively senior leadership roles. In the early ’90s she returned home to St. John’s where, working out of KPMG’s regional office, she continued to provide consultation to public companies on appropriate operational and management strategies. Bev also played a vital role in KPMG’s talent attraction strategy as Personnel Manager and worked with various career transition clients.  During her tenure at KPMG’s National Professional Development office, Bev created and taught technical, coaching and management courses throughout the pan-Canadian organization.

Since 2001, Bev has held senior roles with iconic Newfoundland and Labrador organizations, including CFO of Fishery Products International Ltd. (FPI), CFO of Research & Development Corporation (RDC), and most recently as Executive Vice President for The Pike Group.  She has played a key role in the delivery of Human Resource strategies and in shaping the overall corporate culture of the organizations with which she has had the pleasure of working.

With her solid experience in accounting, finance and operations, Bev understands the impact of talent attraction on an organization’s bottom line. It is this understanding that drives her in the pursuit to find the very best candidates for her clients.

A strong proponent of continuing education and an outstanding student, Bev has completed numerous management and leadership courses since she graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Cooperative Degree (1986). She holds a CPA, CA designation, and earned the honour of top ranked new CA in KPMG Canada while with the Firm. She was elected President of the Chartered Accountant Student Association of Ontario that same year.

Bev has served on several local Boards, most recently as a Director and Audit Committee Chair for a TSX-V Junior Mining Company and as Director for the Janeway Foundation. In her leisure time, Bev enjoys winding down with her family and friends at her cottage and keeping up with two energetic and busy teenagers.
